Q1 Success and Q2 Ambitions: Inside Lendhub’s Best Start to the Year

At the start of April, the Lendhub team came together to review our record-breaking Q1 achievements and kick off an exciting Q2. From major milestones in lending and platform development to growing our team across departments, it’s clear that momentum is building.

We also took the opportunity to look ahead, setting ambitious goals, celebrating the progress made, and making plans to take things even further. Here’s what some of our leadership team had to say about the day:

This was Lendhub’s strongest Q1 to date, with record-breaking performance across the business. We’ve hit the ground running in 2025, scaling the business with new hires across credit, origination, operations, and marketing to support our growing pipeline. What’s most exciting is that we’re not just growing in volume,  we’re improving how we operate, communicate, and deliver value to our clients.

In Q2, we’re taking another major step forward as we prepare to move into our new Lendhub HQ, a space designed to support our next phase of growth.

When reviewing quarterly performance, I remind myself not to get too carried away when we’re ahead of target, or too downbeat when we’re behind. Our results don’t exist in isolation. They’re shaped by a wider environment, and right now that includes an unusually unpredictable political and economic landscape, the full implications of which are still unfolding.

What we can control is how we show up each day; improving our systems, sharpening our thinking, and backing one another to grow. Our real momentum comes from having the right people 'on the bus' and becoming better versions of ourselves each quarter. That’s how we build something we’re genuinely proud to be part of.

Q1 marked a major inflection point for Lendhub. We delivered our strongest origination performance to date, supported by strategic hires across credit and sales, and we began seeing the impact of our smarter, data-led underwriting model. Broker engagement is up, decisioning is faster, and our in-house platform development is unlocking clearer visibility and automation across the loan lifecycle.

With this foundation in place, Q2 is all about acceleration: smarter tooling, intelligent features, and deeper integration between teams. The gains are real and we’re just getting started.

The marketing function at Lendhub has transformed significantly over the years, evolving from a small support role to a dynamic, growth-driven engine within the business. This transformation was most evident in Q1, where we took bold steps to elevate our brand, expand our market presence, and connect more with our audience.

We hosted a series of successful broker events, creating valuable face-to-face connections that generated new business opportunities. Our Real Deal newsletter (sign up here)became a direct channel for industry insights, offering exclusive content, including team highlights and behind-the-scenes stories. We produced an all-encompassing specialist finance guide (download 25 Things to Know About Property Finance), positioning Lendhub as a go-to resource for brokers and borrowers alike, and ramped up our content strategy with Meet The Team videos, in-depth case studies, and authentic company culture stories and insights. Q1 marked a new era for marketing at Lendhub, one built on strong foundations, ready for scalable growth.

Looking ahead to Q2, I’m excited to share that our team is expanding with the addition of a Content Creator, who will bring fresh energy and creative direction to our content strategy. This new hire will be pivotal in elevating our output, both in volume and quality, enabling us to produce more authentic, engaging content that our audience wants to see. From customer success stories and company insights to educational videos that demystify the world of specialist finance, this new role will enable us to strengthen our brand presence and drive greater lead generation, ensuring a steady intake of new business.

With a stronger team and an even more ambitious vision, Lendhub’s marketing is set to reach new heights. Stay tuned for what’s to come…
